The first song from Ponybird's third release, Modest Quarters, captures the feeling of leaving familiarity behind and embracing the great unknown. As a metaphor for the transitory nature of relationships that inspire us and change our lives, Dauphinais says, "I wrote In The Threads the day everyone left a songwriters' gathering.
